Silver Dagger is the fourth stand-alone game in the Silver series by Ted Alspach. This series of fast and engaging card games come with a memory & werwolf twist! In Silver Dagger you'll find 14 all new roles and abilities -some of which will have you strategically switching up the direction of gameplay, the 4 Zombie in particular! Just in real life, it's pretty hard to get rid of Zombies; you can't put them on top of the discard pile, and they need to be faceup to pass them to the previous player. Fortunately, there are some really helpful roles too, the Debt Collector, which subtracts a point for each card held by your opponents, and the Halfling, who has the power to divide your entire score for the round in half!

Silver Dagger

Silver Dagger is the fourth stand alone game in the Silver card game series. This installment is largely focused on using gameplay direction as part of player strategy! All Silver games have the same core mechanics. Players begin with five facedown cards in front of them, only able to peek at two to begin with. They then will be drawing and discarding cards each turn with the goal of decreasing their points as fast as possible; multiples of the same value card may be traded in together to scale down more quickly. Cards 0-4 have abilities that are able to be used when they are in front of a player while, cards 5-13 have powers activated in different ways all to help benefit the player or to sabotage their opponents. Once a player believes they have the fewest points at the table and has four or less cards, they may choose to call for a vote. Each of their opponents will have only one more turn and then the round will end. If the player who calls is correct, they are awarded a score of 0 for the round and the Silver token to use its power in the next round. All other players record their sum. If the player who called was incorrect, they record their sum plus ten extra points! After four rounds, lowest score wins.
