For wavy teeth sets in jig saw blades, teeth are aligned in a wave design and can be used for straight, fine cuts. These blades tend to have a higher teeth per inch (TPI) count and are used in thinner material applications.

Side Set & Milled

Side set and milled teeth offer fast, rough cuts in wood and plastics. Teeth that are side set are offset in design and are used for faster, rough cuts. These blades tend to have fewer teeth per inch (TPI) and are used in thicker material applications where a rough cut is acceptable.

Ground & Taper Ground

Ground and tapered ground jig saw blades offer a precise, fine and clean cut in wood. Taper set teeth have a straight alignment and are used for slower, very fine cutting. These blades tend to have higher teeth per inch (TPI) and are used in wood applications requiring a slow, smooth cut or when cutting thinner materials.
