Instructions the for Use
you will need an adjustable wrench and a drill preferably, screwdriver just takes longer.
For right hand gates/doors fit the top bracket to the post and the bottom bracket to the door.
For left hand gates/doors fit the top bracket to the door and the bottom bracket to the post.
(1)The end marked top (with the white sticker on the nut) goes up and attaches to the door.
(2)Install on the side of the door with the hinges.
(3)Use a crescent wrench or equivalent to rotate the nut one side (about 1/6 of a full rotation), then slide in the small strip that locks the nut in place.
(4)Test the door to see if there is enough tension to close it. Repeat if necessary.
Note: tighten well and watch your face. It is a spring after all.
