Made of solid hardened steel and chrome plated with Nano protect plating that provides extra protection against the harsh weather elements as well as adding extra security. The special alloy steel shackle has a Nano protect coating which also offers extra corrosion protection. The dual ball bearing locking mechanism resists pulling and prying giving it added security levels. The 83 series can be keyed into many popular security keyways with a cylinder that can be taken out and re-keyed to match most existing keys. with ABUS patented Z-bar it converts key retaining to non-key-retaining within seconds.
