The towing capacity of our trailer triple ball with hook hitch is set at 17,000 lbs (18,500 lbs if you are using a 2 1/2 inch shank model). This is the Gross Towing Weight Rating (GTWR*). The Vertical Towing Weight Rating (VTWR*), also known as the Tongue Weight Rating, is 1,700 pounds (1,850 pounds if you're using a 2 1/2-inch shovel shank model). Our black trailers are die-cast from forged steel so you can tow heavy trailers with confidence!
