Technical details

  • Battery voltage: 12 V
  • No-load speed [min-1]: 600010,000
  • Orbit diameter: 2.5 mm
  • Weight (without rechargeable battery): 0.8 kg

When starting to operate my random orbit sander, the sanding pad does not rotate evenly. What causes this

The sanding pad is not rotated evenly by a gearbox, but oscillates freely around an axle. If it is held, for instance, it will no longer rotate freely. If it is used as intended, the function is not impaired.

What applications is the GEX 12V-125 suitable for

This cordless random orbit sander is intended for basic sanding, in-between sanding, lacquer removal, and finishing surfaces. It is applicable on wood, veneer, lacquer, and filler, as well as mineral and acrylic.

Which abrasie disc can I use

Any sanding paper or net with a diameter of 125 mm can be used.

In order to optimise the adhesion between net sanding materials and the sanding pad, we recommend using an intermediate sanding pad.
