The Cooks Standard 5 Quart/11-Inch Classic Stainless Steel Deep Saute Pan with Lid is made with stainless steel with an aluminum disc layered in the bottom. The aluminum disc capsuled base provides even and quick heat distribution and prevents hot spots. Multi-layered bottom for temperature control and outside stainless steel for appearance and easy cleaning. Flat bottom sits evenly and has a tapered lip for drip-free pouring. Stainless steel lid keeps in heat/moisture and creates a seal. Long riveted handles stay cool and comfortable with a hole for hanging. Large size is multipurpose for boiling, frying, steaming, and more. Induction compatible. Works on gas, electric, glass, glass, halogen, etc. Oven safe to 500°F. Dishwasher safe.
