- Suitable for all cooking surfaces: The pre-seasoned cast-iron cookware can be used on all cooking surfaces, including on a stovetop, in the oven, under the broiler, or even on a barbecue. Avoid dragging the cookware to protect the cooking surface when using it on ceramic- or glass-topped cooking surfaces.
- Excellent High-grade Cast Iron: This dutch-oven is made with high-grade seasoned cast iron. It distributes your food evenly and wonderfully. The cast iron material is a great conductor and retainer of heat, so please be careful when taking it out of the oven. However, you can taste the flavour difference when you cook with cast iron.

| Cleaning, Care & Maintenance | How to Care for Cast Iron Before first use, rinse the pre-seasoned cookware with hot water and dry thoroughly. Do NOT use soap. For optimal results, cook using medium heat and apply a small amount of vegetable oil to the cookware's cooking surface before each use. Use heat-resistant silicone, plastic, or wooden utensils only. Avoid metal utensils. After cooking, clean the cookware using a stiff brush and hot water, then rinse and towel dry. To remove stuck-on food, boil water in the cookware for a few minutes to loosen residue, then rinse and towel dry. To clean, hand wash only. After hand washing, the towel dries immediately and applies a light coat of oil to the cooking surface. At the same time, the cookware is still warm (to prevent rusting). Do not put cold water into the hot cookware or let it air dry. Soap and harsh cleaning detergents should never be used to clean pre-seasoned cast-iron cookware.
