These high performance, exterior coated, composite decking screws are engineered for professional and demanding industrial operations. They are designed for both hard and soft wood, are made from high quality heat treated steel and have a self-countersinking screw head. The sharp screw point works for quick starts without "walking." Torx/Star drive delivers twice the torque of Phillips or square drive screws. These screws have dual threads with a reverse top thread to eliminate mushrooming and driving bottom thread for better holding power.
