This is the most popular replacement T Handle kit in the chute industry for both your trash or laundry chute door.
It is simple and easy to install and has a blind mount with a 90-degree clockwise rotation and helps make replacing your current tee handles a quick task.
The mounting holes on the escutcheon plate are 1-1/2 inches apart.
That is pretty universal, but measure it from center of hole to center of hole to be 100% sure.
- To make sure you have an exact fit, we recommend removing the current handle you have on your door, and making sure the copper piece behind the handle has that V Shape that we call a V Spindle.

This assembly has a backset tubular slam bolt latch that measures 1-3/4" that is standard for the majority of bottom hinged and side hinged shoot doors.
Finally you will receive these commonly used screws that are compatible for these handles and doors.
This T Handle can sometimes be fitted with a different screw, but these screws are normally used in 95% of all applications.
You can always use the current screws that are on your rubbish chute or linen chute door if they are different.
