Can you connect several of the rails, or do you just line them up next to each other?
Absolutely, you can connect STAS picture rails together with a rail connector that is included in this kit. This little gadget makes sure everything lines up nicely, giving you a smooth and straight setup.
How many inch of rail do I need?
For the best and most beautiful result, mount the rail over the full length of your wall(s). You can easily cut the rail to size using a hacksaw.
Can the STAS system also hang clocks, mirrors, and more, besides just art and frames?
Our rails can hang various items like whiteboards, clocks, mirrors, quilts, and more, as long as they fit within the system's weight limit. Even flat-screen TVs have been mounted successfully!

Yes! This kit includes cords for up to 33 lbs. Combine as needed but keep within the rail's weight limit. Use one hook/cord for small items, two or more for larger frames to align easily.
On what type of wall can I mount the rail? Is the rail also suitable for mounting on a plaster wall?
Use included anchors for concrete/brick, screws for wood. For drywall, secure hardware into studs if possible; for studs over 16" apart, use both studs and supplied anchors for optimal support.
