Tecnodidattica has been the worlds leading designer of globes since 1950. Combining tradition, research, high-quality materials and design innovation, Tecnodidattica had created a new concept for the globe. Globes made and designed by Tecnodidattica use advanced technology and high-quality materials, certified for their safety and all made in Italy. Tecnodidattica is proud to collaborate with National Geographic, the world leader in cartography for more than 120 years. Together they have merged tradition with high-tech materials, to create a globe that is both elegantly designed and perfect in its cartography. The National Geographic Explorer Executive features a base made with premium beech wood and a graduated meridian with a bronze looking finish, to create a tasteful piece that is both a precise learning instrument and an elegant decorative accessory. The official National Geographic cartography is designed to embrace an ancient look. The cartography is also updated to show accurate political and physical elements on the map. Also, border demarcations are highlighted by different colours to facilitate rapid recognition and geographical analysis. With a diameter of 12"/30cm and a height of 15"/38cm, our globe, thanks to an internal LED light, is both a learning instrument and a refined desk lamp. Moreover the packaging has been reduced for greater respect for the environment and contains all the elements to assemble the globe in three simple steps. Standing out for its high tech and luxury quality materials, the National Geographic Explorer Executive Globe is designed to offer a new vision of the ever-fascinating planet Earth.
