Do not submerge hot cookware in cold water since this will damage the cookware.If, through misuse, burned grease or food residue collects on the surface of the pan, it can usually be removed by washing it with warm water and a mild detergent. In an extreme case, such residue can be removed by a thorough cleaning with a solution of 3 tablespoons bleach, 1 tablespoon liquid dish detergent and 1 cup of water. Rub this mixture to the surface with a sponge or plastic bristle brush, rinse and towel dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners, pads, oven cleaners or caustic cleaning solutions to clean the cookware. After cleaning, recondition the interior by swiping a light layer of cooking oil onto the surface. |
